As tempting and smilingly easy it is to make or grab a sandwich or roll, I promise there are far better options.
pasta
We are mainly talking wheat pastas here.
rice
Rice is one of the trickiest of grains for your digestion to break down.
OATS
Contrary to popular belief, oats contain which block vital nutrients mainly then causing a lack of energy.
pastries
Such a pretty picture and you know it tastes good, but the sugar + carbohydrate will not only pack on the pounds, but it will send your blood sugars spiralling, not to mention insulin crashes, then the perpetual cycle of cravings and ‘hunger’.
flours
Generally only acting as bulking agents, binders or fillers. Can you imagine what that is doing to your gut?
corn flour / corn starch
For some, this is worse than wheat or glutenous flour. Causing awful IBS symptoms, bloating, constipation and diarrhea. M&S love it, so I don’t shop there anymore, ever. As they cover everything in it, even their whole roasting chickens to ensure they crisp up and go ‘golden’. In my eyes the toxicity and effect on the gut just isn’t worth ‘the look’. Pre packaged sauces often contain it too. Not to mention, tortilla chips and lots of gluten free substitutes use it for bulking out and thickening.

Getting your cupboards well stocked with staple regulars of what you can eat is key to ensure you choose wisely.
Please check substitutes with me if you're unsure. I'd rather you ping photos from the supermarket then you eat something that will bring back your symptoms.
