Nutritional Therapy for rebalancing diets

How Nutrition Fits Into My Approach

HEALTH ASSESSMENT

Your journey begins with a detailed consultation and Biofeedback assessment to build a clearer picture of your health and identify areas requiring support.

IDENTIFY IMBALANCES

We explore potential contributors to your symptoms, including digestive stress, food sensitivities, blood sugar instability, nutritional deficiencies, hormonal changes and lifestyle factors.

PERSONALISED NUTRITION PLAN

Based on your findings, you'll receive practical dietary guidance tailored to your symptoms, preferences and lifestyle.

TARGETED BIOFEEDBACK SUPPORT

Alongside nutrition, Biofeedback frequency balancing is used to support the body's natural self-regulation processes and help restore balance.

ONGOING REVIEW & ADJUSTMENT

As your symptoms improve, recommendations are adjusted to ensure continued progress and long-term results.

Common Nutritional Imbalances I See

Many symptoms are not caused by a single issue but by a combination of factors that place additional stress on the body.

Some of the most common issues I see include:

• Blood sugar instability and energy crashes

• Poor digestive function and nutrient absorption

• Food sensitivities and inflammatory triggers

• Low protein intake and amino acid deficiencies

• Chronic stress and nervous system overload

• Hormonal imbalances during perimenopause and menopause

• Nutrient deficiencies including B vitamins, magnesium, zinc and iron

• Gut microbiome imbalances

• Histamine intolerance and heightened reactivity

• Long-term depletion following illness, stress or burnout

Addressing these underlying stresses often helps explain symptoms that may otherwise seem unrelated.

Areas Nutrition Can Support

DIGESTIVE HEALTH & GUT SUPPORT

Digestive symptoms are often linked to a combination of gut imbalances, food sensitivities, stress, nutrient deficiencies and digestive dysfunction.

• Bloating, IBS, reflux, constipation or diarrhoea

• Food sensitivities and intolerances

• Frequent digestive discomfort after eating

• Suspected Candida, parasites or microbiome imbalance

• Histamine intolerance or food reactivity

• Recurring infections or poor immune resilience

HORMONAL HEALTH & PERIMENOPAUSE

Hormonal symptoms rarely stem from a single imbalance. Nutrition can play an important role in supporting hormone production, detoxification and blood sugar regulation.

• PMS, painful or irregular periods

• Perimenopause or menopause symptoms

• Hot flushes, mood changes or anxiety

• Poor sleep linked to hormonal fluctuations

• Fatigue, low motivation or low libido

• Blood sugar instability and hormonal cravings

FATIGUE, ENERGY & BURNOUT

Persistent fatigue often reflects a combination of nutritional depletion, stress, poor recovery, blood sugar instability and nervous system overload.

• Waking tired despite sleeping

• Afternoon energy crashes

• Burnout, overwhelm or feeling depleted

• Post-viral fatigue or difficulty recovering after illness

• Reliance on caffeine or sugar to keep going

• Feeling exhausted but unable to switch off

SLEEP & NERVOUS SYSTEM SUPPORT

Sleep difficulties rarely occur in isolation and are often influenced by stress, hormones, blood sugar balance and nervous system regulation.

• Difficulty falling asleep

• Waking during the night or too early

• Restless or unrefreshing sleep

• Feeling wired but tired

• Racing thoughts or difficulty switching off

• Sleep disruption during stress or perimenopause

MOOD, STRESS & COGNITIVE HEALTH

Nutrition plays a key role in supporting brain function, nervous system health and emotional wellbeing.

• Anxiety, overwhelm or poor stress tolerance

• Brain fog or poor concentration

• Low mood or emotional flatness

• Irritability or feeling on edge

• Poor focus or mental fatigue

• Feeling stuck in fight-or-flight mode

METABOLIC HEALTH & WEIGHT BALANCE

Weight and metabolic health are influenced by far more than calorie intake alone. Blood sugar balance, hormones, stress and nutrient status all play a role.

• Unexplained weight gain

• Difficulty losing weight

• Blood sugar crashes or energy dips

• Cravings for sugar or carbohydrates

• Increased abdominal weight gain

• Insulin resistance or metabolic imbalance

PAIN, INFLAMMATION & PHYSICAL HEALTH

Chronic inflammation can contribute to a wide range of symptoms throughout the body.

• Headaches or migraines

• Joint pain or stiffness

• Muscle aches or fibromyalgia-type symptoms

• Skin issues such as eczema, acne or rashes

• Ongoing inflammation with no obvious cause

• Slow recovery after physical stress

DETOXIFICATION & ENVIRONMENTAL STRESS

Modern life places a significant burden on the body's natural detoxification systems, which may contribute to a range of symptoms.

• Sensitivity to smells, chemicals or cleaning products

• Headaches triggered by food, alcohol or fragrances

• Sluggish digestion or poor liver function

• Fluid retention or puffiness

• Fatigue or brain fog after chemical exposure

• Skin congestion or recurring breakouts

COMPLEX & UNEXPLAINED SYMPTOMS

Many clients come to me after being told their tests are "normal" but still don't feel like themselves.

• Multiple symptoms affecting different body systems

• Symptoms that seem to come and go without explanation

• Feeling out of balance or disconnected from your body

• Nervous system dysregulation

• Histamine sensitivity or heightened reactivity

• Long-standing health concerns without clear answers

Nutrition FAQ’s

  • The number of sessions required varies from person to person and depends on the nature of your symptoms, how long you've been experiencing them and your overall health picture.

For more complex or long-standing concerns, I generally recommend one of my 6 or 8-session programmes. This allows time to identify underlying imbalances, implement personalised recommendations and monitor your progress as your body begins to respond.

Many clients notice improvements much sooner, but lasting change often requires consistency and support over time.

At your Health Assessment, I'll advise which option is likely to be most appropriate for you.

  • My programmes are designed to provide ongoing guidance, accountability and personalised support throughout your health journey.

Depending on your programme, support may include:

    • Regular Biofeedback scan assessments and frequency balancing

    • Monitoring of nutritional imbalances, vitamins, minerals and amino acids

    • Personalised dietary recommendations tailored to your symptoms and goals

    • Guidance around food sensitivities and digestive health

    • Recipe ideas and meal inspiration

    • Practical lifestyle and nervous system support strategies

    • Recommended books, podcasts, apps and educational resources

    • Food and symptom tracking tools where appropriate

    • WhatsApp support between sessions for questions and guidance

The aim is not simply to tell you what to do, but to help you understand your body and build sustainable habits that support long-term health.

  • No. My goal is to help you find an approach that works in real life, not create unnecessary restrictions.

During the programme, there may be periods where I recommend reducing or avoiding certain foods to help identify triggers or support healing. However, this is always tailored to your individual situation and explained clearly.

Once symptoms have improved and your health is more stable, I generally encourage an 80/20 approach — focusing on nourishing, nutrient-dense foods most of the time while still allowing flexibility for social occasions, holidays and meals out.

Rather than giving you a rigid diet to follow forever, I aim to help you understand how different foods affect your body so you can make confident, informed choices long after our work together ends.

  • If you're currently taking any medications or supplements, please bring them along to your appointment (or have them available during your online session).

Reviewing what you're already taking helps ensure recommendations are appropriate, avoids unnecessary duplication and allows me to assess whether any adjustments may be beneficial.

  • No. Most clients begin with a Health Assessment and personalised programme without spending hundreds or even thousands of pounds on functional lab testing.

Using Biofeedback scan assessments, personalised nutrition and lifestyle support, we can often uncover key imbalances and identify practical steps to support your health.

Additional testing may occasionally be recommended, but only when it is likely to provide valuable information that will influence your programme.
